Covid-19 : Les cadres réglementaire et opérationnel du Covid-19 Solidarity Fund établis

GIS – 02 mai 2020 : Le cadre règlementaire et les ​directives opérationnelles du Covid-19
Solidarity Fundont été établis, permettant aux individus, organisations et institutions
de soumettre leur demande pour recevoir un appui financier afin de mieux faire
face aux effets néfastes du nouveau Coronavirus.

 

Le gouvernement a créé le Covid-19
Solidarity Fund, sous les Finance and Audit (COVID-19 Solidarity
Fund) Regulations de 2020 de la Finance and Audit Act, en vue
d’accompagner la population et l’ensemble de la collectivité touchés par la
pandémie. Les orientations générales du fonctionnement du Covid-19 Solidarity
Fund sont disponibles sur le site internet de la Mauritius Revenue
Authority : www.mra.mu.

 

Ce Fonds contribuera, entre
autres, à financer des projets, programmes et plans relatifs au virus SARS-CoV-2
et d’autres questions liées à la santé publique. Il vient également en aide à
toute personne vivant dans la République de Maurice et aux organisations
impactées par la crise sanitaire et économique.

 

Le Fonds est financé par des
sommes provenant du Consolidated Fund, des entreprises et organes
publics, et des donations, subventions, recettes et apports du secteur privé, des
organisations nationales et internationales ou de tout autre individu. Le
déboursement des montants d’aide et de soutien interviendra pendant les périodes
de confinement et de reprise.
